Take the fast ferry with children

Fast ferry trip with children (from 1 to under 11 years old) determined by year of birth are eligible for discount on Eco fare according to the company’s policy.

Children traveling with adult are not entitled to the free luggage allowance.

Fare for fast ferry on Kien Giang and Con Dao Island routes for children

Children under 6 years old or less than 1m2
Free of charge on board if children under 6 years old or less than 1m2 in case of sharing a seat with an accompanying adult.

If separate tickets are purchased, they will be charged according to the children’s fare shown in the table below.

Children under 1.2m: Free.

Children over 1.2m and under 1.4m: 50% off fare.

Note: 01 adult can only bring 01 child at the free age. If 01 adult accompanying passenger with 02 children aged free of charge or more is only free 01 child, the remaining children must buy ticket according to regulation.

Exchange information for Con Dao Express fast ferry ticket for Vung Tau – Con Dao Island, Tran De – Con Dao Island, Can Tho – Con Dao Island routes is specified as follows:

| Definition: Changing ticket information is the change of any data on the ticket issued to the customer.

Cases in which ticket information can be changed:

  • The sales staff performed incorrectly, resulting in inaccurate passenger information.

Note:

  • Customers will not receive the difference if the new fare is lower than the new one.

Cancellation and refund policy for Con Dao Express fast ferry routes

Cancellation and refund policy for Con Dao Express fast ferry routes, applicable to agents and customers traveling on Vung Tau – Con Dao Island, Can Tho – Con Dao Island and Tran De – Con Dao Island routes until has a new replacement policy.

Cancellation cases:

  • Because the shipping line changes its operation plan, including: displacement / change date, time, route….
  • Force majeure events that the ferry cannot operate. For example: Weather or other dangerous conditions that the Maritime Administration does not permit the ferry to operate…
  • Agent or sales staff selling the wrong trip, the wrong route, the wrong date, time…
  • The agent or sales staff performed incorrectly, resulting in inaccurate guest information…
  • Customer change plans and stop taking the ferry.
  • Customer change trip, route, date and time.
  • Customer need to change the class or seat position.

Cancellation conditions:

  • Eligible tickets are issued from the ticketing account issued to the ticket office and / or the agent.
  • Tickets with cancellation request has not been used to board the ferry.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted and made 24 hours before the departure time of the ferry with the ticket to be canceled.
  • Agents, customers who request to cancel tickets must present tickets with full 02 copies and valid papers (ID card, passport …)
  • Cancellation requests within 24 hours of departure must be approved by the Chief of the Ticket Office or the Sales Manager on the cancellation record.
  • The company will not accept cancellation requests after the ferry’s departure time. In special cases that require cancellation of tickets, the approval of the Board of Directors of the company is required through the request to be transferred to the company by the Chief of the Ticket Office or the Sales Manager.

Note: Where customer buy ticket, cancellation will be done there. For example: If a customer buys a ticket at an agent, he / she should contact the agent to cancel the ticket.

All cancellation requests 24 hours prior to departure time are subject to a 20% cancellation fee on the listed price, specifically as follows:

  • ECO ticket on Friday and weekend: 72.000 VND / ticket
  • Children/ Senior ticket on weekdays: 52.000 VND / ticket
  • Children/ Senior ticket on weekend: 58.000 VND / ticket
  • VIP: 100.000 VND / ticket

Cancellation requests in case of trip cancellation due to force majeure, e.g. weather, disease or technical breakdown of the ferry and / or the company’s ferry changes, will be free of charge and 100% refund on actual sale price.

Please contact directly where the ticket was purchased, which can be the representative office, authorized agent, ticket office of the carrier to make cancellation and refund.

To refund / cancel tickets, passengers need to provide booking information such as fast ferry ticket code, departure schedule, full name, date of departure… to email booking@taucaotoc.vn from your email address which you used it to buy ticket, or contact the nearest branch / ticket office for assistance.

The refund will be transferred to the account / card you used when buying ticket within 1-7 working days. Due to the need to compare the debt between the Company / Agent / Ticketing Staff and the Shipping Line, this stage will take your time.

How to handle in case passengers are late for fast ferry to Con Dao Island?

In case of passengers are late for a fast ferry to Con Dao Island from Vung Tau, Can Tho or Tran De will be handled as follows:

  • If the passenger cancels the ticket no more, it is considered that the ticket for that ferry has expired and no refund will be issued.
  • If you agree to take another trip, you will receive a 50% discount on the newly purchased ferry. For late ferry, customers will pay for 20% ticket cancellation fee, receive 80% back according to cancellation policy and buy back trip at listed price.
  • Customer who buy ticket and pay in any form will be paid by the shipping line or the agents pay for the customer through that form. For example, if the customer transfers the money, the PQE will transfer the refund to customer, the customer who pays via e-wallet will be refunded via the e-wallet.
  • The time to complete the refund via bank transfer or e-wallet or card payment will not exceed 07 working days. The time the customer receives the refund for the ticket refund depends on the bank which customer is using or the bank that issues the card, e-wallet…
