Maritime navigation channel of Cua Viet
The depth of the channel and the ship rotation area at Cua Viet port is determined by an echo machine at 200kHz, taking into account the water level “0 sea chart” as follows:
1. Ship flow
Within the bottom of the 60m wide navigational channel, limited and guided by the marine signaling system, the depth reaches: – 1.7m (minus one meter seven).
2. Ship rotation area
Within the ship-turning area is limited by a circle with a radius of 125m, centered with the following coordinates:
